Exercise:

· If you need to lose weight exercise 60 minutes every day.
· Work up to this slowly until you reach 60 minutes without effort.
· Monitor your heart rate and avoid exercising beyond the suggested rate.
· Start exercising slowly to warm up during the first 20 minutes to access the fat burning cycle.   The first 20 minutes of exercise burn carbohydrates.  Burning all your carbs will produce hunger.  You do not want to do that.  That is why there is a warm up period until you get to the fat burning side of your exercise routine.
· Eat some protein before exercising if you want to build muscle mass.
· Can combine several periods during the day to reach 60 minutes total.

Sleep:
· Sleep in a pitch dark room to maximize melatonin
· Go to bed before 10 PM to improve adrenal function
o every minute of sleep before midnight equals to ten minutes of sleep after midnight.  The "yin" building occurs during the yin hours which begin at 12 noon.  That is why going to bed early is good and is considered a beauty sleep.

Sunlight:
· It is good to get at least one hour of sunshine a day.
· If you can, avoid using glasses or contacts during your sunbathing to maximize wavelength exposure to retina
· Use full spectrum lights in winter if possible


Electro Magnetic Fields:
AVOID:
· Electric razors
· AC/DC transformers
· Electric blankets
· Waterbed heaters
· Automatic car door openers in pocket
· All wrist-watches with battery

Drugs:

· Minimize or avoid whenever possible
· Especially troublesome:
o Antibiotics
o Anti-ulcer drugs
o Birth control pills or estrogen for menopause

Supplements:

· Probiotic bacteria like Acidophilus, Bifidus and the like benefit everybody.  About 70% of the immune system is located in the gut and consists of these little friendly bacteria.
· Avoid iron.
· Avoid non-organic supplements
· Avoid synthetic vitamins
· If your serum ferritin is decreased take supplements that have organic sources of iron like Ferrofood or E-Poise
· If supplements smell bad please don't use them.
· Store your supplements in a cool dry place

AVOID:
· Microwaved food and water
· Root canals
· Fluoride toothpaste, in water or treatments
· Unclean kitchen counters
· Antiperspirants with aluminum
· Immunizations
· Non-coated aluminum cookware
· Breathing from upper chest
· Eating fast.  If you do not chew your food properly it would not be digested and assimilated properly.  Digestion begins in the mouth.
· Constipation
o Need 2-3 bowl movements per day
o Magnesium can be used if necessary
o Low thyroid frequently problem
