Geometry of the Body

The Two Sides of the Body.

The South American Indians of the Amazons basin consider that when you are sick you are out of place within your being and your right and left sides are not communicating.  There is no center and disease occurs.

Feminine, left side of the body with the midnight light.  The dark side of the light. The night light. The descending light. The giver of dark light. The receiver of day light.

Masculine, the right side of the body with the noon light.  The bright side of the light.  The day light.  The ascending light. The giver of bright light.  The receiver of dark Light.

The circle gets completed when the feminine takes from the masculine the ascending energy and the masculine takes from the feminine the descending force.  The bright light and the dark light bring forth the energy that moves this world.

To feel the dark light: Please experience the light that comes out of your left body and the different qualities of light between your right side and your left side.  The feminine is the shadow, dark and often misunderstood Light.  The light is within the shadow as much as yin is within yang and as much as the solution to any problem is in the very root of the problem.

Understanding the role of the woman is basic to balancing the human energy and this world.  Women have to express themselves and men have to listen to them to receive the feminine energy.  The expression of the feminine is very varied.  Any thing a female does for the care of others expresses the shadow force, the dark light, the energy that feeds this world.  The female gives dark light but feeds on the bright light of the masculine.

Understanding the role of the man is also basic.  Men express the light and go to look for it.  It is ascending energy.  That is why they need to conquer.  They give bright light but need the dark light of the yin to nurture and  balance themselves.

Both female and male forces need each other to create energy.  Your right side is masculine, your left side is feminine.  Dividing the body in two, right and left and then again in front and back gives us 4 quadrants Right Back as masculine masculine, Right Front as masculine feminine ,Left Back as feminine masculine  and Left Front as feminine feminine.

Any pain in your body could be classified in this way and analyzed within the context of feminine-masculine in order to get to the root of the psychological unbalance that tilted the geometrical figure out of shape.

Geometry of the Body

The body is a combination of geometric forms that combine with each other in an amazing grid.  Truly Sacred Geometry. It is inside of ourselves because it is 'in' our body but it is also outside of ourselves because it is 'of' the body although, here the body-soul connection gets blurred.

So, we can see how we can affect different parts of the body from very distant places, like hands and feet to treat headaches, for example, by using the particular geometrical form that brings the vector of energy in the direction we want, using the related acupuncture channels in accordance to the classical texts: Lung, Large Intestine, Spleen, Stomach being one. Liver, Gall Bladder, Pericardium and Triple Burner being two. And Heart, Small Intestine, Kidney and Urinary Bladder being the third.

So, in any given situation of pain we can figure the geometrical shape that any of those 3 groups of channels form in the body, by creating vectors where the stagnated energy that produces pain, could be freed up, resulting in the elimination of that pain.

For some reason I started seeing the body as a combination of geometrical shapes, a long time ago, maybe about 15 years ago and I was amazed when the shapes of triangles, squares, pyramids, circles etc. inside of me started to pop up inside my eyes with such clarity.  But I could not understand it and much less express those sensations.  I ended up attributing them to the feeling of art inside of me, because they were quite luminous and quite physical, meaning I could see them not only in my eyes but in my body.

Later I studied acupuncture and it is just now, some many years later and after a lot of studies in every system of acupuncture that I am putting those two things together, meaning the geometrical forms inside of me and the acupuncture channels.  So, I practice with them in my patients and often I am totally blasted with the results because I accomplish nice treatments and my patients can't believe what happened and how fast it works and other times it does not work that well.  So, in these instances I go back to classical acupuncture, either TCM, Mater Tong, Hara or whatever.

Acupuncture and the Geometry of the Body

To understand the way acupuncture works, it is easier if we look at the body as a geometrical figure that can be divided either in squares, triangles, rectangles and other shapes.

Although the shape of our body is not square, the energy pathways that get released with acupuncture have directions that go up or down, and side to side and therefore, we can see the body as if it were a geometrical figure.

For example, suppose that you have been sitting in a square pillow for a while and when you get up is all crunched up.  It looks untidy.  Then you fluff the pillow and it looks good again.   You fluff the pillow by pulling the corners opposite to where the crunch is to strengthen it.  We do the same with the human body.

The major amount of acupuncture points are in the hands and feet, and lower legs and arms.  Those are the corners.   So, the effect is similar as to a pillow although the energy pathways are definitely more complicated.

Ideally, and in a healthy body,  this is the way it works.  But we all put ourselves in situations of stress and abuse of our bodies and we crunch our energy.  We feel tired, untidy, unable to have deeper experiences and enjoyment.

And this way, it happens that the folds in the pillow, so to speak, get more imbedded, more permanent and that becomes more complicated.  It is much better to keep things clean than to replace them.  And as far as the human body, it is the only one we will ever have.

The needles are very small in diameter and a good practitioners would know where the kink is and pull however gently.   The energy is subtle and the pull is often not felt.  It is not painful.  It has been utilized for millennia in the Orient.

It is amazing to see the results in oneself.  And what is also even more amazing is when we see how we can relieve pressure in our eyes through our feet, stomach ache through our arms and legs, back pain in the ankles, kidney stones in the face, etc. etc.

Try it.
